Ayushman Bharat e-KYC helps eligible beneficiaries in Jharkhand verify their identity and access an Ayushman card. The process generally involves checking beneficiary details, verifying identity through Aadhaar or another accepted government ID, and completing approval through the relevant system.
Ayushman Bharat e-KYC is the identity-verification step used to authenticate an eligible beneficiary before an Ayushman card is issued or used. Under PM-JAY, the Beneficiary Identification System can search beneficiary records and supports Aadhaar e-KYC as well as non-Aadhaar authentication routes.

The beneficiary identification process is not simply a general insurance application. PM-JAY is an entitlement-based scheme, so eligibility is linked to the relevant beneficiary database and applicable government criteria.

Having an Ayushman card does not mean every service at every hospital is automatically covered.
Coverage depends on the scheme, beneficiary eligibility, the hospital's empanelment status and the specific health package or treatment involved. NHA's current documentation states that cashless access is available for covered services at registered or empanelled healthcare providers, subject to the applicable scheme limits and availability.

PM-JAY provides national portability for eligible beneficiaries at empanelled hospitals, subject to scheme rules and covered services.
