He earned his MBBS from Government Medical College, Mysore, and further honed his expertise by completing his DNB in Ophthalmology at Sankara Eye Centre, Coimbatore. Dr. Kumar's commitment to specialized eye care is further demonstrated by his extensive fellowship training. He completed a one-year fellowship in Medical Retina at Sankara Eye Centre, Coimbatore, and undertook an Observership in Uveitis at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
