Dr. V. Roopesh Kumar is a highly experienced Neurologist with 28 years of dedicated practice. He holds an MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and an MCh in Neuro Surgery, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of neurological conditions and surgical interventions. Before his tenure at SIMS Hospital, Dr. Roopesh Kumar played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the Department of Neurosurgery at JIPMER. During his leadership, he ensured the department was equipped with advanced facilities, including a fully operational Neurosurgery ICU and a Neuro Trauma ICU. These resources enabled the state-of-the-art management of a wide spectrum of complex neurosurgical procedures. Dr. Roopesh Kumar's expertise is recognized nationally and internationally, as evidenced by his invitations to serve as faculty at numerous conferences.
