Dr. Jakinapally Sreenath Rao

Dr. Sreenath Jakinapally is one of the very few surgeons doing dedicated work in the field of spine surgery in India. He specializes in complex spinal deformity reconstructions and is well trained in the minimally invasive techniques in managing degenerative and traumatic affections of the spine. His work on proximal junctional kyphosis in adult spinal deformity is well appreciated in the international spinal deformity forums and has received many accolades. After his post-graduation and spine surgery training in India, he is one of the few to have the privilege of working at the prestigious Hamamatsu University school of medicine (Japan), which has dedicated high volume spine surgery work. He was awarded a full-time spine fellow at the prestigious CHU Pellegrin University Hospital (France). He is exposed to high volume complex spinal deformity surgeries doing dedicated research on safe spine surgery.
