Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTC) is the most common and differentiated form of thyroid malignancy, representing roughly 80% of all cases. It develops in the follicular cells of the thyroid gland—the butterfly-shaped organ at the base of the neck. Due to its slow-growing nature, the long-term survival rate is exceptionally high.
