Dr. Anand Kumar

Dr. Anand B Kumar is a distinguished Ophthalmologist in Navi Mumbai, specialising in paediatric ophthalmology, squint eye (strabismus) and neuro-ophthalmology After completing his MS (Masters in Surgery) in Ophthalmology, Dr. Anand Kumar went on to do a long-term fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus from India’s premier eye institute – the Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai. He then pursued an advanced fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology from the University of Wisconsin in USA, training under the world-renowned Dr. Burton Kushner. On successful completion, he was awarded the prestigious International Council of Ophthalmologists (ICO) Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus. Dr. Anand Kumar is involved in several on-going research studies. He has also written numerous papers and articles, which have found their way to being published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and have also been presented at medical conferences, which he regularly attends as a speaker or delegate.
