Dr. Bhavin Visariya

Dr Bhavin is a Radiation Oncologist at HCG ICS Khubchandani Cancer Centre. He is an expert in modern conformal radiation delivery techniques such as stereotactic radiation, IGRT, IMRT and other conformal radiation techniques. • He has vast experience in brachytherapy (internal radiation) such as image guided brachytherapy (IGBT) for gynaecological malignancies, brachytherapy for breast and oral cavity cancers. • He also has first-hand experience in processes involved with the commissioning of the new linear accelerator as well as the brachytherapy system from Varian Medical Systems. • He has a special interest in Hypo fractionated radiation in breast cancer, prostate cancer and spinal metastasis, motion managed radiation for breast and lung cancer, role of radiation as immunomodulator and immunotherapy. • He has authored many publications in peer-reviewed and indexed journals. • He is an invited faculty member of many national conferences. • He is a life member of reputed radiation oncology associations in India and outside, such as ASTRO & ESTRO.
