She completed MBBS & MDDVL (Dermatology Venereology Leprosy) from the prestigious Madras Medical College. She also completed 6months intensive training in cosmetology from Stanely Medical College.She was awarded Fellowship in cosmetology in Indian Institute of Aesthetic Medicine (Pune).
Dr.Abirami has attended various conferences, training programmes and workshops and she has presented many papers. She is expert in hair transplantation and acne treatment.
