Vasavi Hospital and Medical Research Center was set up under the aegis of MS Vasavi Seva Kendram, to provide quality and affordable health care to all, with special emphasis for the needy and the down trodden. The founding members consisting of Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta, Dr.Sri.Pampati Krishna, Sri Challa soma Raja Ram and others, a platform was created for the establishment of a multi-specialty hospital.
Having a humble beginning with general medicine and general surgery, the hospital grew by leaps and bounds in the years that went by, largely due to the generous contributions from philanthropists consisting of patrons and Trustees. They were well supplemented by major Donors like Sri Nagender Kishen Pampati, Sri Didige Jayanth, Sri Gelli Ramesh, Sri Bandaru Subba Rao and others.
Their contribution has made the Hospital a multispecialty hospital now, with leading doctors associated with the Hospital. Dr.K.Krishnaiah, M.S.General Surgeon is giving the services of Medical Director for last 6 years also took part in the active development of Hospitals.
