SSKM / PG Hospital – Gastroenterology Department is a specialized digestive and liver disease care unit within the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research. The department provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, pancreatic, biliary, and liver disorders.

Services include upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, management of liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal cancers. The department serves as a tertiary referral center for advanced gastroenterology care in Eastern India.
