The 3M Littmann Classic III Stethoscope is a dual-head acoustic medical instrument designed for general diagnostic auscultation. It features a tunable diaphragm on both the adult and pediatric sides of the chestpiece, allowing for the detection of a broad range of frequencies. The chestpiece is constructed from stainless steel, providing durability and acoustic integrity, and is finished with a mirrored surface.
The diaphragm is a single-piece design that is both easily cleaned and replaced. The stethoscope utilizes a non-chill rim on both the diaphragm and the bell, enhancing patient comfort during examinations. The headset is made of anodized aluminum and is anatomically angled to align with the ear canal, promoting a proper acoustic seal and comfortable fit.
