For low frequencies, light pressure is sufficient, while firmer pressure is needed to detect higher frequencies. The pediatric side of the chestpiece can be converted into a traditional open bell by replacing the single-piece diaphragm with an included non-chill sleeve, providing versatility in its application. The single-lumen tubing is engineered for durability, offering enhanced resistance to skin oils and alcohol, which contributes to a longer lifespan and reduced need for replacement.

This tubing is also free from natural rubber latex and phthalate plasticizers, promoting patient and environmental safety.
