AB-Flo SR 200mg Tablet contains Acebrophylline, which is a medicine used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to treat inflammation of the airways, such as bronchitis. Before taking AB-Flo SR 200mg Tablet, tell your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems or if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism.
AB-Flo SR 200mg Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women and should only be used in breastfeeding women if necessary. The most common side effects of AB-Flo SR 200mg Tablet are stomach pain, discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhoea and constipation. See your doctor if any of these side effects bother you.

The symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, blood in the vomit, restlessness, increased limb movements, seizures, and increased heart rate. In case of an overdose, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you have missed any dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one. Do not stop taking AB-Flo SR tablet without consulting your doctor.
Acebrophylline causes relaxation of muscles around the airway and inhibits the mucous secretion. Acebrophylline inhibits certain enzymes responsible for the production of chemicals that cause swelling. This results in a decrease of swelling responsible for airway obstruction.
AB-Flo SR tablet is not recommended during pregnancy. If you conceive while taking this medicine, get in touch with your doctor immediately.
Safety of AB-Flo SR tablet is not established in breastfeeding mothers. Hence, avoid this medicine while breastfeeding.
AB-Flo SR tablet may cause dizziness and drowsiness as side effects. Be cautious if you experience these side effects.
Avoid alcohol while consuming AB-Flo SR tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness.
