Abz Plus Tablet is an anti-worm (antihelminthics) medicine. It is used for the treatment of infection caused by worms and expel worms from the body. Abz Plus Tablet is a combination of albendazole and ivermectin, with these two active ingredients.
It is used for the treatment of intestinal worm infection and suppression of worms that causes filariasis. The combination acts as a deworming agent by killing the worm and eliminating it from the body. Worm infection spread via contact of contaminated soil, food and feces of infected person.
Symptoms of overdose of Abz Plus Tablet are fits, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhoea or skin rashes. If you have consumed too much of this medicine, seek medical attention immediately.
If you missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed dose.
Abz Plus Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
Abz Plus Tablet should not be used during pregnancy; as there is lack of safety information during pregnancy.
Components of Abz Plus Tablet pass into breast milk. Caution is advised while breastfeeding.
If you experience dizziness, fits or visual disturbances after taking Abz Plus Tablet, it is advised to avoid driving.
