When using the Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips, users should ensure the meter is compatible and that the test strips are within their expiry date. The process involves inserting a test strip into the compatible Accu-Chek Instant or Accu-Chek Instant S blood glucose meter. A blood sample is then obtained via a finger prick using a lancet.
The blood drop is carefully applied to the designated area on the test strip. The meter will then process the sample and display the blood glucose result. It is important to store the test strips in their original vial, tightly closed, to protect them from moisture and light, and to maintain their stability and accuracy.
