Acitrin Capsule is an anti-psoriasis medication. It contains acitretin as the active substance. Acitrin Capsule is used in the treatment of psoriasis - severe skin problems where the skin has become thick and scaly and which does not respond properly to other treatments.

Dosage

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose of Acitrin Capsule include headache, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, irritation, and itching. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose of Acitrin Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

• If you are pregnant, there is a chance you could become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• If you have liver or kidney problems.
• If you have high levels of fat or cholesterol in your blood.
• If you use other retinoid medicines or medicines, vitamins, or foods that contain high levels of vitamin A (more than 5000 IU per day).
• If you are taking a contraceptive pill that has only a low progesterone content.
• If you are under 18 years of age.
