Actidase A tablet is used to relieve acute pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis in adults. It contains aceclofenac, which blocks pain-causing chemicals in the body, and serratiopeptidase, which helps reduce swelling and break down harmful tissue. Together, they help manage pain, fever, and inflammation.
You should not take Actidase A tablet if you have allergies to its ingredients, a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, severe heart, kidney, or liver problems, or are pregnant. Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, and allergic reactions. Always take the tablet as directed, with or without food, and at the same time each day for best results.
This medicine may interact with several other medications, including blood thinners, blood pressure medications, heart medications, lithium, methotrexate, and certain antibiotics or antidepressants. These combinations can raise the risk of bleeding, kidney issues, or other serious side effects. Let your doctor know about all medications or supplements you’re taking.
Avoid Actidase A tablet during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not drive if you feel dizzy or sleepy after taking it. Avoid alcohol while on this medicine.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but don’t double up. In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately.
