Actoid Capsule is an anti-psoriasis medication. It contains acitretin as the active substance. Actoid Capsule is used in the treatment of psoriasis - severe skin problems where the skin has become thick and scaly and which does not respond properly to other treatments.
Take Actoid Capsule in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Actoid Capsule, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.
Symptoms of overdose of Actoid Capsule include headache, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, irritation, and itching. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you missed any dose of Actoid Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
Actoid Capsule brings about a normalization of the growth cycle of skin cells and hence reverses the changes that have occurred in the skin.
