Aqmen - AB0315 - Sutures AB0315 AqPdsyn PDS type USP 2-0-6 Foils

This product consists of absorbable surgical sutures made from polydioxanone, a synthetic absorbable polymer. Each suture is 30 centimeters in length and is presented in a USP size of 2-0. The material is violet in color, which aids in visualization during surgical procedures.

The sutures are designed to provide wound support for approximately 42 days as they are gradually absorbed by the body through hydrolysis. This makes them suitable for applications where extended tissue approximation is required, but permanent foreign material is undesirable.

The sutures are pre-attached to a 37-millimeter, 1/2 circle taper point needle. The needle is designed for unidirectional use, meaning it is intended to be passed through tissue in a specific direction to minimize tissue trauma. The taper point design is beneficial for penetrating soft tissues with reduced resistance, making it suitable for delicate tissues.
