Aqmen - AM5052 - Sutures AM5052 AqSilk Mersilk Type USP 2-0-12 Foils

The Aqmen AM5052 is a non-absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. It is constructed from braided silk, a natural protein fiber, which is then treated to provide a smooth passage through tissue. The suture material is black, which can aid in visibility during surgical procedures.

Each unit consists of a 76 cm length of USP 2-0 gauge suture, pre-attached to a 50 mm needle. The needle is a 1/2 circle reverse cutting type, engineered for efficient penetration of tough tissues. This product is supplied in a box containing 12 individual foil-wrapped units, ensuring sterility until the point of use.

The permanent wound support offered by this suture makes it suitable for applications where long-term tissue approximation is required.
