Aqmen - AM896 - Sutures AM896 AqLene Prolene Type USP 1-12 Foils

The Aqmen AM896 is a non-absorbable surgical suture designed for permanent wound support. This product is constructed from polypropylene, a synthetic monofilament material that is inert within tissue. The suture is presented in a blue color for enhanced visibility during surgical procedures.

Each foil contains a single strand of suture, measuring 100 centimeters in length and conforming to USP size 1. The suture is attached to a 30-millimeter needle, which features a 1/2 circle curvature and a taper cutting point, designated as heavy. This needle type is suitable for penetrating tough tissues.

The packaging includes 12 individual foils per box, ensuring sterile and ready-to-use units for clinical settings. The inherent properties of polypropylene make it resistant to degradation in the body, providing long-term tensile strength for tissue approximation.
