Aqmen - AMP2534 - Sutures AMP2534 POLYSOLVE + VICRYL type USP 0-12 Foils

This product is an absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. It consists of a 90 cm strand of polyglactin-910 material, which is a synthetic copolymer of glycolide and lactide. This specific formulation is treated with an antibacterial agent, triclosan, and is presented in a violet color for enhanced visibility during surgical procedures.

The suture is classified as USP size 0, indicating its diameter and tensile strength. It is designed to provide wound support for approximately 28 days as it is gradually absorbed by the body through hydrolysis. The suture is supplied pre-attached to a 36 mm needle, which is a 1/2 circle reverse cutting type, designated as OR6.

This needle configuration is suitable for various tissue types requiring precise penetration and cutting. Each box contains 12 individual foil-wrapped units, ensuring sterility until the point of use. The material composition and design aim to facilitate secure tissue approximation while minimizing the risk of infection due to the antibacterial additive.
