The Aqmen AMP2826 is an absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure. This specific configuration features a USP size 1 suture, 70 cm in length, constructed from a blend of Polyglactin-910 with an integrated antibacterial agent, Triclosan, giving it a violet coloration. The suture material is designed to provide wound support for approximately 28 days as it is gradually absorbed by the body.
Each box contains 12 individual foil-wrapped units for sterile delivery. The accompanying needle is a 1/2 circle reverse cutting type, measuring 23 mm in length, suitable for penetrating various tissue types. This suture is intended for use in surgical procedures where absorbable wound closure is indicated and where tissue support for a defined period is required.
