Benzol Suspension is an anti-worm (antihelminthics) medicine. It is used for the treatment of infection caused by worms and expel worms from the body. Benzol Suspension is a combination of albendazole and ivermectin as its active ingredients.
It is used for the treatment of intestinl worm infection and suppression of worms that causes filariasis. The combination acts as a deworming agent by killing the worm and eliminating it from the body. Worm infection spread via contact of contaminated soil, food and feces of infected person.
Symptoms of overdose of Benzol Suspension are fits, vomiting, slow heart rate, dizziness, diarrhoea or skin rashes. If you have consumed too much of the medicine, seek medical attention immediately.
If you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose of the medicine to compensate for the missed dose.
Benzol Suspension should not be used during pregnancy as there is limited safety information available on use of this medicine during pregnancy.
Components of Benzol Suspension pass into breast milk. Caution is advised while breastfeeding.
If you experience dizziness, fits or visual disturbances after taking Benzol Suspension, it is advised to avoid driving.
