The BPL Smart Oxy Pulse Oximeter is a digital medical instrument designed for non-invasive measurement of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), and Perfusion Index (PI). This device is intended for use on a fingertip to provide real-time physiological data. The instrument operates by utilizing two wavelengths of light to measure the amount of oxygenated hemoglobin in the blood.
The device features a clear color OLED display that presents readings in a variety of formats, with six selectable display modes and four directional viewing options to facilitate readability from different perspectives. Its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for a range of finger sizes and promotes portability for use in various settings. The power source for the device is two AAA alkaline batteries, and it incorporates a low battery indicator to signal when replacement is needed.
An automatic shut-off feature is integrated to conserve battery power when the device is not in use.
