Exrab Injection is an antacid. It is used for the short-term treatment of stomach and intestinal ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition in which stomach acid flows back into your food pipe.
Exrab Injection contains rabeprazole as the active substance. This medicine will be given in a hospital or clinic setting by your doctor or nurse. Do not self-inject.
Before using Exrab Injection , inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements that you take.
Exrab Injection works by reducing the gastric acid secretion. This helps to treat the ulcers and symptoms of GERD.
There is limited information on the effect of Exrab Injection in pregnant women. Therefore, this medicine should not be used during pregnancy. Before starting treatment with this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant.
