Civaderm Cream is a topical antifungal medicine. It contains ciclopirox as its active ingredient. This is used for the local treatment of fungal skin infections between toes, moist areas of the body like thighs, groin and other parts of the body.
This medicine works by interfering with the multiplication of fungus and preventing the fungus growth. Do not use this Cream if you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine. Stop using this Cream if you develop any redness, itching, swelling, burning or irritation at the site of application of the Cream.
Civaderm Cream is meant only for external applications. Apply this Cream as recommended by your doctor. In case, your eyes come in contact with this Cream, rinse with water immediately.
Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and your detailed medical history. Civaderm Cream is not recommended for children below 10 years of age.
As Civaderm Cream is meant for external application cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have applied extra quantities of it wipe out the excess of the medicine with tissue or cotton.
If you have missed applying Civaderm Cream, apply it as soon as possible. Do not over apply this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
Civaderm Cream interferes with certain chemical substances within fungal cells. This result in the degradation of the fungus and thus, it inhibits growth of the fungus.

Civaderm Cream is to be applied externally on the skin. Hence, it does not impair your driving ability. However, if you experience any side effects which may affect your ability to drive safely, it is suggested that you avoid driving.
