The 187660 Duoderm CGF Sterile Dressing is a moisture-retentive wound dressing designed for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. This dressing utilizes a unique Control Gel Formula (CGF) where the dressing mass is composed of hydrocolloids. These hydrocolloids interact with wound exudate to form a cohesive gel, effectively managing the fluid released from the wound.
The dressing is designed to be self-adhesive, facilitating ease of application and adherence to the skin surrounding the wound. Its construction allows it to absorb exudate while simultaneously maintaining a moist wound environment conducive to the healing process.
