Delisprin 75 tablet is an antiplatelet medicine containing acetylsalicylic acid (also called aspirin). It is used to prevent blood clot formation within the body. It is also used to prevent heart attacks, strokes and chest pains associated with the heart.
This medicine should not be used by individuals with bleeding disorders. Take this medicine as prescribed and for the prescribed duration. Please do not modify the dose or stop it before the prescribed duration, even if you feel better.
Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history including all the medicines you are currently taking.
Symptoms of an overdose include ringing in the ears, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting and stomach ache, sweating, fever, increased pulse or breathing rate, fits, low blood sugar. If you think you have taken too much of Delisprin 75 tablet, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you have missed any dose of Delisprin 75 tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Platelets are blood cells that help in the clotting of blood. When clot formation occurs in the artery, blood flow stops that can be dangerous in cases of a heart attack. Aspirin in low doses stops these platelets from forming a clot so that blood can flow without any obstruction in the arteries.
Delisprin 75 tablet passes into the breastmilk. Hence it is not recommended to take this medicine if you are breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.
Yes, you can drive after consuming this medicine. Delisprin 75 tablet does not affect the ability to drive or operate heavy machines.
You should avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Delisprin 75 tablet as it can cause bleeding in the stomach and intestine.
