How Does It Work?

Salicylic acid is a topical keratolytic that acts as a scale lifter, removing the dead skin cells and helping soften the layers of the skin. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that helps relieve redness, pain and inflammation. It binds to specific receptors, which induce the synthesis of certain anti-inflammatory proteins. Zinc oxide has astringent and soothing effects on the skin.
