Doxt-SL capsule is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, lungs, nose, kidneys, bladder, skin, eye, rickets and sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea or syphilis. You should always complete the entire course of treatment with antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor. Do not miss any dose or take more than the prescribed dose.
Doxt-SL contains a combination of doxycycline and lactobacillus as its active ingredients. Doxycycline prevents the growth and reproduction of bacteria that cause infections, while lactobacillus helps maintain the normal bacterial flora of the gut. It is important to take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor and not to take more than the recommended dose.
Additionally, do not stop taking this medicine alone, and always complete the entire course of antibiotics, even if you start to feel better, to prevent the infection from returning.
