Besolac H Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine. It contains a combination of two medicines - Bisoprolol and Hydrochlorothiazide. It is used to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure.
While taking this medicine you should be cautious of your diet and should also exercise regularly. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It can be taken with or without food.
Do not miss any dose or take it more than that recommended by the doctor. Before starting Besolac H Tablet, it is mandatory to inform your doctor about your past medical history and the medicines you take. Also inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Besolac H Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or without food. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
Besolac H Tablet should not be used during pregnancy as there is limited safety data available in pregnant women, thus you should consult your doctor. Your doctor will only prescribe you this medicine if considered essential after assessing the benefits over risks.
Besolac H Tablet is not recommended for use while breastfeeding as it is unknown if its components pass into breast milk. You doctor may suggest an alternative medicine especially when you are breastfeeding a newborn or premature baby.
Besolac H Tablet may make you feel dizzy and sleepy, thus you should avoid driving if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert.
It is unsafe for you to consume alcohol while on treatment with Besolac H Tablet as it may worsen your condition.

Excess of Besolac H Tablet may lead to irregular heartbeats, low blood pressure and fits. Symptoms of overdose include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sleepiness, weakness, confusion, muscle cramps, dehydration, fatigue, unconsciousness. Seek urgent medical help if you experience any symptoms or feel you have taken too much of this medicine.
In case you’ve missed any dose of Besolac H Tablet, take it as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, then skip the missed dose. Avoid taking a double dose to compensate for the missed dose.
Besolac H Tablet is used to treat mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure).
You have to take Besolac H Tablet as directed by your doctor. It can be taken either with or without food.
You should plan a balanced diet which has proteins, whole grain fibrous fruits and vegetables. Please consult your doctor before starting any diet or food habits You need to limit carbohydrate, salt and sugar intake. Also exercise regularly and reduce weight. You must avoid smoking or drinking.
No, do not stop taking Besolac H Tablet suddenly, as it could worsen your condition of high blood pressure. Instead, you should consult your doctor and he/she may adjust your dose.
