Eiref Capsule contains a combination of itopride and pantoprazole as their active components. It is used to treat GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). GERD is a condition where acid from the stomach comes up to the food pipe.
This backflow of acid irritates the lining of the food pipe and leads to chest pain and heartburn. Eiref should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably 30 min before meal.
Avoid spicy, oily and junk food, alcohol, smoking, large meals before going to bed, caffeinated drinks, etc. while on this medicine. An active and healthy lifestyle is the key to controlling and managing acid reflux or related symptoms.
If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you missed any dose of Eiref, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Eiref Capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break, or chew the medicine. It should be taken before meals.
As there is limited information available about the safety of Eiref Capsule in pregnant women, it should be avoided during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy.
Eiref Capsule is not recommended while breastfeeding as its components may pass into breast milk in low amounts, thus please contact your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.
Eiref Capsule may make you feel dizzy, thus you should avoid driving if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert.
