Febuxostat is the active component in Endeavours Furic Tablet, which lowers the raised uric acid levels in the blood. It can lead to a condition known as hyperuricaemia. Also, Gouty arthritis, a condition where uric acid level increases more than normal.
This medicine belongs to the 'Anti-gout' class of medicine. Endeavours Furic Tablet acts by inhibiting the chemical substance xanthine oxidase responsible for the formation of uric acid, lowering the serum uric acid levels. Endeavours Furic Tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.
Sudden joint pain, headache, nausea, diarrhoea are the most common side effect of this medicine. If these side effects do not resolve within a short duration or if it gets worsened, reach out to the nearest hospital or clinic.
If you notice any of the symptoms of side effects, due to suspected overdose, immediately rush to a hospital or consult a doctor for emergency treatment.
Take the missed dose when you remember but if it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not overdose to compensate for the missed one.
Febuxostat blocks an enzyme that is responsible for the formation of uric acid in the body. Thus, lowering the uric acid levels in the body.
Endeavours Furic Tablet dosage should be taken orally once or twice a day as per the doctor's prescription. Prefer to take medicine at the same time every day.
There is limited information available about the effect of Endeavours Furic Tablet on pregnancy. Hence, it is recommended to avoid the use of this medicine during pregnancy, unless prescribed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

Endeavours Furic Tablet can make you feel sleepy, dizziness and blurred vision after taking this medicine. Hence, avoid driving.
Alcohol is known to increase the uric acid levels in the blood thus worsen the condition. Hence, it is not advisable to have alcohol when you are suffering from gout.

The half-life of the Endeavours Furic Tablet is around 5-8 hours.
The effect of a single dosage lasts for around a day.
Eating products which lower or have no effect on levels of uric acid can be helpful during the medication. Avoid meat, beef as they have higher levels of uric acid.
Store Endeavours Furic Tablet at room temperature and keep away from excess heat and moisture. Do not use any outdated medication. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Take Endeavours Furic Tablet as prescribed by your doctor for the prescribed duration. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. You can take this medicine with or without meals.
