Eprisan D SR capsules are used to treat pain and muscle spasms. It consists of diclofenac and eperisone that helps relieve pain associated with spasms.

Dosage

Overdose

If you have taken too much Eprisan capsule, contact your doctor or visit your nearest hospital immediately.

Missed a Dose

• If you have missed any dose of the Eprisan tablet, then take it as soon as you remember

Interactions with other medicines

• When lithium or digoxin is used concomitantly, diclofenac may increase plasma concentrations of lithium and digoxin

• Increased serum potassium levels are observed when diclofenac is co-administered with potassium-sparing diuretics
• Anti-platelet agents and anticoagulants, when administered with diclofenac, should be handled with caution as they increase the risk of bleeding
• Co-administration of diclofenac with other NSAIDs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding
• Eperisone, when taken with paracetamol, may interact with muscle relaxants, blood thinners and lipid-lowering agents
• Diclofenac may inhibit the renal clearance of methotrexate, thereby leading to an increase in toxicity of methotrexate
• Concomitant use of cardiac glycosides and NSAIDs in patients may exacerbate cardiac failure
