Erytop-N Gel contains a combination of clindamycin and nicotinamide, an antibiotic and a form of Vitamin B3 respectively. It helps in reducing acne, blackheads and whiteheads, and also helps in preventing acne and reducing acne scars. This gel should be used externally only.
The side effect of Erytop gel are burning sensation, skin dryness and itching. Usually, these side effects resolve on their own but if it bothers you, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid excessive use of makeup, and other products on your skin when using this gel.
Do not pop acne as it may lead to bacteria & pus spreading on the skin that can lead to the spread of acne and acne scar.
Erytop-N Gel is meant for external application. The cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion reach out to your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have overapplied it, wipe out excess gel with the help of a clean tissue or cotton..
Missing an application of Erytop-N Gel may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. If you have missed applying this gel, use it as soon as possible. Do not overuse this gel to compensate for the missed application.
Erytop-N Gel is applied to the skin, and the quantities in which it may get absorbed is too little. Thus, the chances of any effect of it on pregnancy are rare. However, this medicine should be used only under medical supervision as components of this medicine are known to be unsafe during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. In case you are prescribed with this gel, avoid using it on larger skin areas for a prolonged time.
Erytop-N Gel can be used while breastfeeding if prescribed by the doctor. It should not be applied to the breast or areas near the breast of breastfeeding mother as there can be chances of ingestion by a breastfed infant. Avoid long term use or applying it on large areas of the skin.
Erytop-N Gel is for external use and is less likely to influence your ability to drive.
There is no direct interaction between alcohol and Erytop-N Gel, but you should avoid consuming alcohol as it can worsen the infection and inflammation, and may also delay the healing process.

It may take up to 2-3 weeks before your symptoms improve. Erytop-N Gel may take some time to deliver significant results. Use the medicine as instructed and consult with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or get worse.
