Ethicon Ethilon Sutures - NW3398 USP 2, 3/8 Circle Cutting - 12 Foils Box

This product is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture made from monofilament polyamide. The suture material is dyed black for enhanced visibility during surgical procedures. It is supplied pre-attached to a 90 mm, 3/8 circle, reverse cutting needle constructed from SS 420 stainless steel alloy, which is silver in color.

The suture itself has a diameter corresponding to USP size 2 and a length of 70 cm. Each unit contains 12 individual foil-packaged sutures, sterilized using radiation. The material is designed to maintain its tensile strength over time, with a gradual loss of retention strength.

This suture is intended for use in surgical applications where a permanent or long-term closure is required. Its monofilament construction minimizes tissue drag and reduces the risk of bacterial harboring. The cutting needle design is optimized for penetrating tough tissues.

The suture is supplied in a box containing 12 individually sealed foils.
