Fenza capsule is an anti-fungal medicine that is used to treat a vaginal infection called vaginal candidiasis (vaginal thrush). Vaginal candidiasis is a fungal infection that causes vaginal itching, pain or discomfort when urinating, abnormal vaginal discharge and /or pain during sexual intercourse. Fenza capsule contains fenticonazole as the active substance that works by preventing the growth and multiplication of infection-causing fungi.
Fenza capsule should only be used in women above 16 years of age. Women above 60 years of age should consult their doctor before using this medicine. Fenza capsule is for external use only.
It should only be inserted into the vagina. Use this medicine in the exact dose and duration as recommended by your doctor. Do not use this medicine on your own.
Fenza capsule is meant for external application and hence cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, abdominal pain and vomiting may occur. Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital in cases of accidental ingestion.
