Flovel Oz Tablet is an antibiotic medication indicated for the treatment of diarrhea caused by mixed bacterial and parasitic organisms in adults. It contains levofloxacin and ornidazole as active ingredients. Levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination.

Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, acts against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA. This dual action prevents the growth and spread of infection-causing organisms. The medication should be taken at the prescribed dose and for the specified duration.
