Fucibet Cream is used to treat various skin infections by reducing inflammation, such as redness, swelling, and itching while targeting the microorganisms responsible for the infection. It contains two main ingredients: betamethasone, a corticosteroid, and fusidic acid, an antibiotic. This cream is for external use only and should be applied exactly as directed by your doctor.
Use clean, dry hands to spread a thin layer on the affected area. If the cream comes into contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, or genital areas, rinse thoroughly with water. Improvement in symptoms may take a few days to weeks, so use the cream as instructed and complete the full course of treatment.
If there’s no improvement or if your condition worsens, contact your healthcare provider. Common side effects at the application site may include itching, dryness, redness, or a mild burning sensation. These effects are usually temporary.
However, if you experience symptoms of an allergic reaction such as rashes, swelling, itching, or difficulty breathing seek medical attention immediately.
