Respicare Tablet is an anti-allergic medicine used for the treatment of asthma and other allergic conditions such as a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, itching, etc. It contains montelukast as its main component. This medicine works by inhibiting the action of natural chemical substance leukotrienes responsible for allergic conditions.
By blocking leukotrienes, Montelukast improves asthma symptoms, helps control asthma and improves seasonal allergy symptoms. Respicare Tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting this medicine.
Respicare Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy under medical supervision. Use this medicine only if prescribed by your doctor.

Symptoms of an overdose of Respicare Tablet include vomiting, abdominal pain, thirst, somnolence (drowsiness) and mood disorders. If you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
If you missed any dose of Respicare, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
