Gingicort Mouth Paste is used to provide temporary relief from symptoms like redness and swelling associated with mouth ulcers or sores. It contains triamcinolone as its active ingredient, which belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It works by blocking a specific chemical substance that causes pain and inflammation (swelling, redness) in the mouth, thus providing relief.
It is meant for topical use only. This medication is to be used as directed by the physician or dentist. It is not intended for ophthalmic or dermatological use.
Use it as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Do not use this medication for any disorder other than for which it was prescribed. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, contact the physician or dentist.
As Gingicort Mouth Paste is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely. However, if you feel any discomfort after using this medicine, contact your doctor.
