Hib Pro injection contains tetanus toxoid, a bacterial vaccine that protects against tetanus infection. It works by triggering a mild reaction in the body, prompting our immune system to produce protective antibodies against the bacteria that cause tetanus. Typically, a booster dose of the tetanus vaccine is needed every ten years to ensure continued protection.
It can also be administered after recent wounds or injuries that elevate the risk of tetanus infection. Hib Pro injection cannot treat an existing tetanus infection; it is only effective as a preventive measure before exposure to the bacteria. Individuals with acute infections or those who have previously experienced allergies to vaccinations or blood products should avoid receiving Hib Pro injection.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women may receive Hib Pro injection if prescribed by their doctor. Some mild side effects, such as discomfort and redness at the injection site, or a low fever, may occur. These side effects are typically short-lived and resolve within a few days.

Hib Pro injection should only be administered by a doctor or nurse in a hospital setting. This helps minimize the risk of an overdose. If you experience any unpleasant symptoms after receiving Hib Pro injection, please consult your doctor or nurse immediately.

The tetanus toxoid (TT) vaccine contains an inactivated form of the tetanus toxin. When administered, it prompts the immune system to produce specific antibodies against the toxin. This initial exposure also generates memory cells that enable a quick and strong antibody response if the body encounters the actual toxin in the future.
Hib Pro injection can only be administered by a doctor or nurse through an injection into the muscle (intramuscularly). The appropriate dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your age and body weight.
