The Inter-Therm, T also known as passive humidification, is a heat and moisture exchanger (HME) that is made to help people who are breathing on their own keep their body temperature and moisture levels stable while they breathe. It is perfect for people who have a tracheostomy and the doctors who care for them.

It's small and lightweight, and has a unique white corrugated paper HME design to provide the perfect combination between humidification output and low resistance to flow.

Indications

How to Use Inter-Therm T

• Connect the HME between the endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube and the breathing circuit.
• Ensure a tight, leak-free connection to avoid loss of humidity or pressure.
• Replace the HME according to manufacturer or hospital infection control protocols (typically every 24 hours).
• Dispose of after single use.
