Kesol Injection contains potassium chloride for intravenous administration which is used to replenish defeciency of potassium in your body and is helpful to treat the symptoms like irregular heartbeat, muscle weakness, vomiting, etc. caused due to drop in blood potassium levels. This injection should be taken on doctor's advise only.
This injection will be given by a doctor or nurse thus chances of overdose are unlikely. However, if you experience any discomfort or specific symptoms inform your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital.
It is unlikely that the dose of this injection will be missed if you are monitored in a healthcare set up. However, if you have missed to take any dose of this injection inform your doctor or nurse immediately.
Kesol Injection is a sterile medicine containing potassium chloride for intravenous injection which is given for fluid and electrolyte replacement in case of potassium deficiency (hypokalemia) which may lead to irregular heartbeats, weakness and muscle cramps. This medicine brings blood potassium levels to a normal range and offers relief in symptoms of potassium deficiency.
Limited information is available on the use of Kesol Injection during pregnancy. This medicine should be taken by a pregnant woman only when clearly prescribed by a doctor.
There is insufficient data on the safe use of Kesol Injection in breastfeeding mothers. Consult your doctor about this medicine and do not self medicate in any case.
Kesol Injection does not affect your driving ability but do not drive unless you have been certified fit to drive from your doctor.
Alcohol is not known to interact with this medicine. However, if you consume alcohol too often discuss it with your doctor.
