Interactions with other medicines

Simultaneous use of medicines that contain calcium may cause an increase in calcium levels in the body.
Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines for treating bacterial infection (tetracyclines, quinolones), prostate cancer (estramustin), iron-containing medicines, and fluoride. There should be an interval of at least 2 hours between the intake of Ketosteril tablets and such medicines.
Caution should be exercised if you are taking medicines for managing heart failure (cardiac glycosides like digoxin).
