Irritable bowel syndrome is treated with the Librax Tablet (symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and diarrhoea or constipation). It relieves stomach pain and cramps by preventing abrupt muscle spasms. It also facilitates gas flow, which helps to alleviate stomach discomfort.
Overdose of Librax can be lethal. It can cause symptoms like dry mouth, blurred vision, reduced urination, constipation, extreme drowsiness, confusion, muscle weakness, or loss of consciousness are all signs of an overdose.
If you miss a Librax dose, take the tablet as soon as possible, but if it's almost time for your next dosage, avoid the missed dose. Do not combine two doses at once.
Tab. Librex is a combination of two drugs. The drugs Clidinium and Chlordiazepoxide are combined in this medication. It is used in conjunction with other drugs to treat stomach and intestinal problems (such as ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, bowel infections). Clidinium aids in the alleviation of the stomach and intestinal cramps. It relaxes the stomach and intestines muscles and delays the normal movements of the gut. Clidinium is a member of the anticholinergic/antispasmodic drug class. Chlordiazepoxide is an anti-anxiety medication. It produces a soothing effect by acting on the brain and nerves. It belongs to the Benzodiazepine family of medicines.
Librax should not be used during pregnancy because there is clear evidence of it being unhealthy for your unborn child. However, in some life-threatening instances where the advantages outweigh the hazards, the doctor may prescribe it. Please seek medical advice.
Using Librax during breastfeeding is generally not a good idea. The medicine may transfer into breast milk and harm the newborn, according to limited human research. Further, breast milk production may be slowed with Librax.
Librax may cause drowsiness or impair concentration, which may impair your ability to drive.
It is not recommended to drink alcohol while using Librax.
