Lipikind-F tablet is a prescription medicine that contains a combination of Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate as its active ingredients. It is mainly prescribed for patients with high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels in the blood, which may increase the risk of heart-related diseases such as heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin belongs to a class of medicines called statins, which lower “bad cholesterol” (LDL) and increase “good cholesterol” (HDL).
Fenofibrate belongs to a group of medicines known as fibrates, which act by breaking down triglyceride fat in the blood. Together, these medicines help reduce harmful fat deposits in blood vessels and prevent complications like atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Stator F Tablets , Fibator EZ Tablets , Atchol F Tablets , Xtor F Tablets and Tonact TG 10 tablets are some other medicines with Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate as active ingredients.
Lipikind-F tablet should be used with lifestyle modifications such as a cholesterol-lowering diet and increased physical activity like walking, running, jogging, yoga or swimming. It's essential to follow your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration of treatment. For best results, take the tablet at bedtime.
Avoid consuming less fried, oily, junk and packaged food, and avoid smoking and alcohol as well. The tablet should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water and should not be crushed or broken.
