Livogen-XT tablets are a combination medication containing iron, zinc, and folic acid. These nutrients are vital for the production of red blood cells and are essential for overall health, particularly during periods of increased demand such as pregnancy. The medication is used to prevent and treat deficiencies of these nutrients, which can lead to conditions such as anaemia, characterized by a low red blood cell count.
Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to any components, other types of anaemia, stomach ulcers, or blood in the urine should use this product with caution. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children under 12 years of age, should seek medical advice before use. Certain substances like antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee can hinder absorption and should be avoided when taking Livogen-XT.
Temporary black staining of teeth may occur; rinsing the mouth with water after administration is advisable.
