Lysoflam tablet is a combination medicine used in acute painful bones and joints-related conditions such as arthritis, gout, inflammation (swelling) in the spine and joints or other bone-related disorders. It also promotes quick healing in post-operative wounds and pain. Lysoflam tablet consists of three active components namely aceclofenac, paracetamol and trypsin chymotrypsin.
This tablet works by blocking the synthesis of certain chemicals like prostaglandins that are responsible for pain and inflammation. You should take this medicine as advised by your doctor, preferably with or after meals. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting Lysoflam.
Excessive dose of Lysoflam tablet may result in serious liver and kidney damage. Other symptoms of overdose may include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, drop in blood pressure, fainting, etc. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine and experience any such kind of unusual symptoms, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
It would be best if you took the doses at the same time each day for the desired effect. If you missed any dose of medicine take it as soon as you remember. Because missing a dose can impair with the effectiveness of the treatment. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
Lysoflam should be taken as directed by your doctor with a sufficient amount of water. Swallow it as a whole. Do not crush or chew it. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor. Do not change your dose unless your doctor tells you to. Never stop the medicine on your own.
There is limited information on the use of Lysoflam in pregnancy. Hence it is recommended not to use the same unless prescribed by your doctor. However it is strictly not to be used in last trimester of pregnancy.
It is not known if Lysoflam passes into breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding women should take this medicine only if prescribed by your doctor.
It is advised not to drive or use machines if you have taken this medicine as it may cause dizziness, drowsiness, giddiness, impair with your eye sight or tiredness, etc.
Lysoflam tablet may interact with alcohol, so avoid consuming alcohol while you are on treatment. It may be best to hold off on drinking alcohol until you have finished treatment
